Bulgarian Properties Area Info - Bulgarian Black Sea Coast

Bulgarian Black Sea - 380 km marvelous stretch of beaches, calm and safe sea, clear water and healthy air, fine golden sand and natural dunes, mineral water springs, blue flag winning resorts, holiday villages and campsites.

Average air temperature in the summer is about 28C, water temperature - 25C. There are more than 240 hours of sunshine in May and September and more than 300 hours in July and August. The two international airports of Varna and Bourgas connects the Bulgarian Riviera to the world.

Bulgaria's Black Sea coastline is varied and exciting. Fine beaches abound: the beaches of Varna, St. Constantine and Helen and Golden sands are covered with fine crystal-clear sand; Nessebar and Sunny Beach have sand that is golden in colour. Beaches slope down gradually into the sea and a swimmer must strike out at least 100 meters from the shore to reach really deep water. Because of this and because there are no tidal movements of any force, the Black Sea is ideally suitable for the swimmer.

In the vacation months of July and August there is sunshine enough to bask for ten or eleven hours. At daytime the breeze blows from the sea to the shore and at night the direction is reversed. A glance at the map of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast will confirm how much have already been achieved to secure Bulgaria's place as a world-famous tourist centre.

Northern Black Sea coast

Clean and calm sea with shell low sloping sandy bottom, wide beaches with fine grain golden sands, venerable forest and numerous mineral springs. These entire features make the Northern Black Sea coast an attractive place for Bulgarian and foreign holiday-makers. Even the most refined requirements will be satisfied by the Northern resorts of Zlatni Piasatsi (Golden Sands), Albena, Kranevo, Roussalka, Riviera, Slanchev Den (Sunny Day), St. Konstantin and Elena.

Southern Black Sea coast

Picturesque bays and whimsical rocks, spacious beaches with sand dunes and warm sea create the attractive force of the Bulgarian Southern Black Sea coast. Wonderful nature in combination with modern construction - this is the magic of the holiday villages of Elenite, Sunny Beach, Nessebur, Sozopol.
