Village of Balgarevo has a very well developed infrastructure which offers all the amenities one can need. There is couple of local shop, 6 restaurants, pizza bar, health service and car-wash station. It is a tourist place and a lot of people are visiting the area in summer season. It is only 4 kilometers away from Kaliakra cape and 6 kilometers from Kavarna town.

Bolata
There are two humid zones north from Kaliakra - Bolata and Tukliman (Birds’ Bay). Here you can find interesting water-loving birds nesting - loons, ducks, etc. These places are extremely rich during the migration period when more than 150 types of ducks stop to rest and eat. The cliff massifs host owls, buzzards; reptiles those are threatened by extinction and are included in the Red Book of Bulgaria.

Chirakman Cape
It is 3 km south from Kavarna, like a beautiful ending of a pretty valley, through which passes the way from the town to the harbor and the sea. Right here, over the even and almost inaccessible Chirakman plateau, intensive life had existed for thousands of years. During the Hellenic period a powerful Thracian-Greek colony was founded. It was called Bizone and kept in touch with the other colonies along the Black Sea coast.

Kaliakra Cape
Kaliakra is a beautiful cape close to the Romanian border. Usually, it is the final stop of foreign tourists looking for pretty sights and interesting places to the north of Varna. Close to Kaliakra (12 km) one can visit the town of Kavarna, which lies 60 km away from Varna. The cape stretches 2km deep into the sea and consists of 60-70m-high limestone rocks, the inaccessibility of which has been the main reason for the construction of an ancient fortress named Tirisis there.

The village of General Kantardjievo is located in North-East Bulgaria and belongs to Municipality Aksakovo (Varna District). A nice little village situated in a sheltered bay, Kranevo is 25km north of the city of Varna. It lies just beyond the northern end of Golden Sands and at the southern part of a long beach, which extends towards the luxurious resort of Albena to the north. The vast beach, clean sea, gently sloping sea bottom and curative mineral water have propelled the swift growth of the village into a competitive tourist destination.

Kavarna is a small port town which has a broad outlet on the Black Sea to the Eastern and Southern sides. Municipality of Kavarna is situated in the most eastern part of the Dunabian Plain and belongs to the Dobrudzha littoral. The relief is plain to plain-hilly. More than 75% of the municipal territory is fertile cultivated areas.

Shabla Cape & The Lighthouse
The coastal strip in the area of the Shabla cape is strewed with archaeological monuments. The accidental finds, the rescue excavations, carried out during the period 1976 – 1980, and underwater researches prove the existence on this place of a considerable classical settlement, having appeared at the end of V century B.C. and having survived until the end of about VI century.

Shabla Lake

Protected Area “Lake of Shabla” ( 5 3124 ares) is located about 18 km far from the Bulgarian border and 3-5 km north-east of Shabla. By the name of the Lake of Shabla are united two close to one another coastal firth lakes - Shablensko and Ezeretsko, interconnected with jointing sand dunes, grass vegetations, forest- wood and shrubby plants and arable agricultural lands.

Shabla Tuzla
The Shabla Tuzla (2500 ares) is situated about 6 km to the east of the town of Shabla. The lake is entirely separated from the sea by a sand spit a width of 80 m. It is a salty lake- lagoon, formed mainly by the filtration of salty sea waters under the sand dunes, which separate it from the sea. The average depth is 0,6 m and the average saltiness is 0,004.
